Vehicle Detail

Up for sale in my 1973 International Harvester 1110 Custom pickup. It has a 345 V-8 engine with a Torque flight 727 3 speed transmission; it’s a 2wd truck. She has 3.54 gears and is a custom model - AM/FM radio, upgraded steering wheel, and a/c. I don’t drive her enough. I bought her four years ago and immediate stripped off all the paint. A friend and I converted the bed from a 1971 IH pickup. I had a professional body man fabricated the end caps, work out most of the dings, and weld up the holes from the original two tone trim. The color is IH Omaha Orange. The bare metal was etched, primed, and shot with an integrated color/clear coat. There are spots were rust is starting to bubble the paint on the lower edge of the door. Unfortunately I believed the paint guy when he said the etching and primer would cover some imperfections after sanding…it didn’t. Bed liner in professionally applied Rhino Liner. I painted the interior with Hardnosed paint from the POR-15 folks and sprayed rubberized undercoating on the floor pans to prevent rust from starting. I put foam insulation behind the headliner, the rear area behind the seat, and in the doors. The seat is recovered from a GMC pickup and is in great shape; it pulls forward to access the storage area. I bought brake drums, hubcaps, and the sliding rear window out of Colorado. I changed the four barrel carb out for a Holley 2300 with a manual choke setup. I reworked all the brakes, including new wheel bearings up front, in 2011. New parts include rear window gasket, door seals, windshield gasket, new side mirror glass (driver’s side is cracked), new carpet kit, alternator, battery (2012), fuel pump, spare tire, headliner, and valley pan/intake/valve cover gaskets. I’ve replaced all the hoses and belts. I’ve modified a new heater core to fit the original mounting frame. The carb plate that allows me to run the 2 barrel Holley 2300 on the four barrel intake was new. I’ve replaced the oil and temperature senders and mounted mechanical gauges for them under the dash. The front shocks are new as is the thermostat plus associated gaskets. I had the door panels recovered and the mounting boards are new as well. I refurbished the dash, steering wheel cover, and arm rests with SEM color coat vinyl paint. The driver’s side arm rest is wearing thin on the corners – I’ll include any vinyl paint I have. The engine and transmission run great, please watch the accompanying video. The engine leaks (as every IH should) off the bottom end. The a/c system is hooked up and the clutch engages. I converted to 134 put I think one of the valves is preventing the coolant from being added. The power brakes and steering work great and a friend swapped out the front beam axle from the 71 pickup because the kingpins were better. The radio is AM/FM but only the FM band works, and then only between 88.1-101.5. Obviously I can go on forever. .. Please ask any question you have. The truck runs, drives, stops great – and looks good too. Please come by if you are anywhere local and take it for a drive. Please look closely and the pictures and watch the accompanying video (sorry for the shaky filming). She is 41 years old so has long since gone out of warranty from the factory and from me. I will answer any question, take additional pictures, or run video on anything a serious buyer could want to aid in their decision. Deposit of $500 to be paid via PayPal within the first 24 hours after the auction ends. The balance to be paid at the time the truck is picked up. Again, the vehicle is sold as-is, where she is – no warranty is expressed or implied. I reserve the right to cancel bids from sellers with no history, bidders who have just joined e-bay, or bidders with a poor bid history or history of non-payment. I reserve the right to end the auction as I will be advertising the truck for sale locally as well. Link to video - http://youtu.be/t5yMz98mvuE Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
