1960 Impala “Bubble-Top” Sport Coupe 77,000 original documented miles, solid original example of a true American Classic. Factory correct Tuxedo Black exterior with Red/White Hounds-tooth interior. Runs, drives and performs excellent! ORIGINAL 283CI V8 230HP engine & 4-Barrel Carburetor. ORIGINAL Manual 3-ON-THE-TREE Transmission. ORIGINAL Excellent Interior, dealer installed clear seat protectors, floor mats from 1960. ORIGINAL Optional dual rear mount Antennas with working AM Radio. ORIGINAL Glass, trim & chrome. ORIGINAL Optional front & rear bumper-guards. ORIGINAL Optional rear fender side skirts. ORIGINAL Spare wheel & tire, tools & jack New Set of 4 Coker American Classic Wide-White-Wall 225-75-14R Radial Tires. Clear Indiana Title from 1962 Same owner last 52 years, garage kept! If you like authentic all original American Classics, this is one of the finest examples available. Appears to have one repaint over its 54 years and it’s still in good glossy condition. The excellent red Hound’s-tooth interior is original and has not been replaced or restored. The seats are like-new condition and still wear the dealer installed clear plastic covers that have never been removed. The white headliner is original and looks new. The carpeting is still the original and is showing typical wear & stains. The dash and trim are all excellent and look new. The engine bay is clean & detailed, and the original 283/230HP V8 engine runs strong with no smoke or funny noises. The original Rochester 4-Barrel carburetor was recently rebuilt and starts and idles like new. The 3 speed manual transmission & clutch feel strong and shift smoothly. The exhaust is newer and sounds good. Brakes are good, steering is good. The gas tank is newer and car has a new battery, cables and is ready to drive & enjoy. The trunk floor is unbelievable! Showing no signs of rust or patch panels and it has the original spare tire & tools neatly in position. The underbody looks good & solid but is dirty. The body & trim have a few typical small dings and dents but there is no rust on the body. Overall a solid - beautiful color combination - original Impala Sport Coupe that runs & drives excellent with only 77,000 original miles - one owner last 52 years – original Warranty book & Owner’s manual still in glove box with last title from 1962 – believed to be ex-dealer demo.
