1976 Montesa Cota 247T, 21M Trail Bike Bought in Idaho 3 years ago from the orginial owner. Like new 1976 Montesa Cota 247 Trail but it has the spedometer on the fork leg, headlight and tail light. Nice alloy fenders, tires, and shocks., Really doesn't need anything but a new owner. I did notice the accessory switch for the lights, horn and kill button may need some work. The horn button works fine, but the kill button and headlight switch needs attention. I hear sometimes, the insides will get some corrosion. The speedometer wasn't working, or I wasn't going fast enough . It shows less than 400 miles at this time. This little bike is quiet, runs extremely well and would be a great bike for any number of applications. (Vintage trials, enduro, bike for the back of the motorhome, wife's bike, etc) It even has the tool kit in the canister. Throttle cable, clutch cable, brake cable all in good working order. Chain and Sprockets are totally acceptable. Tires are in good condition and the tubes hold air just fine. Seat cover seems to be in complete original condition. She usually starts within 3 kicks. These bikes are few and far between. This is a nice two stroke motorcycle in great condition that is very rare. I also have the original shop manual for the bike. The tank graphics show some wear.
