Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442. This car would be best suited for someone with extensive mechanical ability and knowledge as it needs a full restoration. it does run and drive but has been sitting for many years. I move it around frequently but haven't driven it any further than a quick 10minute ride around the block. it could also make as a good parts donor for your restoration or to build a clone. here is a basic rundown of everything about the car: the factory 8.5inch rear was taken out long ago and currently has a 7.5 rear. the exhaust system is new, with 2 flow master mufflers. has a new radiator and 4 new BFG radial TA tires. as for what it needs to be "driveable": the front brakes are worn out almost completely, the passengers side window motor operates very slowly, the power antenna works but chatters when going up and down, the a/c system is complete but has a leak (so no Freon in it currently). and theres the rust, a lot of it, like a ton. the body looks decent in pictures, but the paint is faded badly on the hood/roof/decklid, peeling on the door, rust on both doors, rust on the passengers side 1/4 panel, and some rust in the left front frame area. it still has the original lethargic 307 olds V8, and 200r4 overdrive trans. it actually runs and drives great (aside from being painfully slow) it fires right up, no smoke or noises. the AIR pump belt is missing because the pump is seized. any questions feel free to email me or call me. Id suggest seeing it in person to make your own evaluation. also if you win the auctuion I would suggest towing it.
