Vehicle Detail
So I have a 1973 Corvette Stingray here or sale. Time capsule car...last registered and on the road in 1998.Titled, NUMBERS Matching car...L-82 with a 4 spd.Current color is blue, interior is original medium saddle. It was Silver from the factory with Medium Saddle interior in Leather, PS, PB, AC and T-Tops. This car was Not optioned with PWR Windows or Tilt Steering. New windshield just installed, New Battery, New fuel tank, fuel filter, oil & filter, air cleaner, plugs, points, distributor cap, condenser, headlight switch...NON vacuum type, 4 new Hella headlamps, New master cylinder, 4 NEW calipers with new pads. New in the bag Speedo cable. I can provide warranty receipts for most of it.Original spare included as well as some Corvette t-top locking handles, pair of GM Corvette badges in pkging, some type of spring, original t-top inserts, original sun visors, original distributor and wire covers in chrome...need attention, some trim for interior rear window. Missing carpet, arm rest cover but I am pretty sure that's it.Most things work...Tach, lighting...all of it, wipers, console gauges with exception of the clock which is temperamental. Sometimes it does, sometimes not so much. The vacuum switch for the headlights is an aftermarket unit from Autozone and was not equipped with the vacuum ports but i just wanted it to pass inspection. The headlights are in the up position. Original carb and air cleaner, AC pump etc. Rubber front bumper is Non-existent. Original Delco sport shocks. Car is a bit of a time capsule. Last on the road in 1998.Car has needs. Most notably, paint and interior. No carpet and the seats are not pretty...especially the drivers. Will need most if not all rubber seals as they have either shrunk or are deteriorated. There is also some rust to be attended to...doors...at bottom or A-pillar and rear drivers birdcage...a Very common spot. Other than that its good to go...frame is straight and real nice. Best to be viewed in person. If you dont care about the cosmetics, then cool. Get in and Go. However, just want to be clear that this a survivor...NOT a concourse edition car. You may find more wrong than I am capable of seeing. Know that before you bid.Car is TIGHT. Runs Strong and shifts tight. I drive it regularly and its a load of fun.Currently Titled, Registered, Insured and Inspected. Titled TMU as I could not prove with Documentation that the 20772 was accurate.Cash of EQUAL trade ONLY but....I prefer the Cash. And NO, I wont sell it for $2k or trade it for your Pinto or Kitchen cabinets.Phone calls ONLY. 978-417-9466
