Up for sale is my 1968 Datsun Roadster 1600 with a 5speed transmission. Exterior: It is blue (as you can see from the pics) but I believe at one point of its life, it was either a yellow or a white. It looks good, but not flawless. Included in the sale is the stock steel wheels. Hayashi Racing wheels are NOT included in the sale. Hardtop is included in the sale as well as a soft top...but the soft top could use some upholstery work. Interior: The interior is complete, but the driver's seat could use some love or a reupholster. A street roll bar will be included in the sale as well. Engine/Mechanical: The engine is complete. Runs and drives fine. Needs warming up from a cold start, but once it warms up to operating temperature, the idle smooths out and ready to drive. (Carburetor car...) Normally the 1600 came with a 4 speed transmission, but a 5 speed transmission was installed prior to my ownership. Bad: 2nd gear is a little worn so no speed shifting or it will grind. Shift slowly and it's fine. I have only owned it for a little over a year, but have not driven it much. It is time to let it go to a good home as my tastes have changed. I really didn't change anything in the time that I owned it. I barely drove it. $6950 obo. Reasonable offers will be considered. Lowballers will be ignored. CLEAN TITLE.
