This is an excellent, extremely clean and well maintained low mileage WOLFSBURG EDITION camper. New parts include rear axels(with cv), brakes all around,upper ball joints,t joint for cooling system and transmission seal. The engine and transmission are both strong and without issues. You will essentially be the second owner of this bus as I have only used it for trips this summer. Upon purchasing this bus ( my second vanagon) I had my trusted VW mechanic make a list of all worn items that may give me trouble. The list above is what was noted and replaced. Can this bus be driven for 4 hours without breaking? Yes. Will it go up hills in 3rd at 45 mph for miles? Yes. Does it leak ? No. All original manuals are included and this is unmolested and original. All the canvas is in great shape and there are no odd smells. This is a turnkey reliable vehicle for all uses. As I have found out over the years while searching for these Vanagons, the prices have been steadily rising. These are unique vehicles that hold their value and examples like this are rare. The ones with Go Westy modifications are too expensive for most with prices well over $50k getting common,while the examples found for under $10k require too much repair. A well maintained original like this one are a great investment and function as they were engineered to by VW Germany.
