Vehicle Detail

I originally had this car in California where I worked as an actress. Perfect glamour car. It's a special edition with doeskin leather seats and tan cording. It's a good year and didn't have the electrical issues as in previous years. They didn't run this classic beautiful version for long which is why it is highly sought after. After California, I lived to Miami Beach where the car was barely used. I had two other cars for work. Within the past 4-5 years I put the car in excellent condition as a gift to my father. I spent conservatively $13,000. The replacements include: new rack and pinion, brakes and rotors, exhaust system, 12 fuel injectors, battery, alternator, engine clamps, hoses, roof, roof lining and seal, reupholstered leather seat, console, and tires as well as routine maintenance. I'm sure there were a few other things as well. Although there may be some other cars out there in the same year, if you don't replace this stuff you are expecting it to break at any time. During these replacements the odometer stopped at 69,000 original miles. I noticed this after I picked up the car. I just left it. But the car was barely run after that. Unfortunately my father is an elderly man and scraped and bumped the car getting it out of the brick garage. He stopped driving soon after. You can see on the photos. On the driver's side there is a door ding and slight scratch barely visible in the photo. The car is stored except when I drive it visiting my folks. It is at their house. I live in Italy now. My attorney and my family are handling this sale on site. I am also easily reachable by phone. I can't think of any other little things that aren't evident in the photos. The original boot is still in the bag and hardly used. Last time I checked the original book and papers were in the car. There is slight water mark on the leather at the bottom of the door that isn't visible unless you open the door and look. There was a slight leak in the seal of the roof before I replaced it all. The visor clips could be replaced if necessary. Overall, she's a gorgeous well running car. I'm sure she'd like to be driven more. The car is a steal! I've been very specific. For a car this age, I'm sure most people wouldn't notice little things. I've had it serviced previously at Shorty and Fred's in Miami Beach, and by Justin Hartley in Asheville, NC. who recently changed Jaguar shops to Lenoir. I have also discussed with dealers and my own service person what these cars should sell for. They have said generally $11,000- $17,000 though I have seen them at $26,000. Of course there are many factors in the sales. But I am well informed. I have put off selling this car because I love it! Every time I pull the car out of the driveway, I think of how much I love driving the car. If feels great! For a sports car it's roomy. It drives better than any car I've ever driven. Unfortunately since I am living in Italy I need to sell the car. And this is the easiest way to do it. I have listed it with no reserve. Please love her and take care of her as I have. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
