Vehicle Detail

This 1966 Ford Mustang started it's life as a 6 cylinder car originally. It is currently in Restoration and was planned to have a 302 roller motor with a 5 speed manual transmission fitted in it once completed. The suspension needs to be replaced with V8 spindles and a larger rear end as the 6 cylinder rear end was 7". Currently the car has been media blasted excluding the roof, quarters, doors, and hood. It was original paint and was sanded off to avoid warping the large surfaces which usually happens when media blasting. Floor pans, inner fender aprons, entire trunk were all replaced with new panels. Everything was done in a professional restoration shop. It is not a finished car, rather it is a great restoration project as 90% of the metal work has already been completed. entire underside of the body was coated in POR-15 semi gloss black. The body was painted to seal the metal from corrosion however it is not complete and would need to be finished. It is a dark metallic Grey PPG deltron with DC3000 Clear coat, 2 coats. would be easy to block and fix the few dents prior to repainting. Both original doors have been worked, and are very near ready to paint. the hood has not been media blasted or sanded yet, and is very solid and straight. It comes with 2 new Fenders, new front fascia, new rear fascia. I have a lot of extra parts, stainless trim pieces, a working in great shape 140mph instrument cluster and bezel which is from a GT car, excellent shape Center console(all pieces). No interior, no motor, comes with a C4 Transmission. For the price you can get this car for it is an absolute steel. Take over this restoration now, I just need it gone because I have no room to store it over the coming winter months. I have title in hand. The hood, decklid, and doors are all original parts. The fenders, front and rear valance are new aftermarket panels. I have the the original stone guard, headlight bezels, headlight covers. I have a lot of parts that go to the car in great shape. All original glass including door glass, rear side quarter glass, windshield, rear window. tail light housings, fog lamp housings, turn signals, tail lamp bezels, etc. have the front grill, and stainless steel grill trim. original hood hinges, visors. This would include the block and paint, panel assembly and alignment with proper panel gaps and full wet sand and polish with glass installation. this is not a requirement but an option for whoever wins the auction. a very inexpensive alternative to taking the car to another shop for Paint work.
