Vehicle Detail
This buggy has a proffecional installed and made engine conversion and the engine on it now is a Dodge Daytona 2.2L w/o Turbo. The engine runs great and sounds even better. The guy that had it before me used the parts off the donor daytona to have it installed so it is fully functional but not as trick looking as it could be. They used a stock radiator which works great but the problem is that the plastic tanks on the radiator isn't made to be in the sun so the UV light made the plastic brittle and one of the tanks cracked. To fix this (and the ugly) I bought a custom built Afco aluminum radiator with blue dual 7" electric fans. As well as matching blue plug wires, and exhaust wrap to cover the unappealing pipe. I also have a VW motor that came with it if I wanted to change it back and so I am letting it go as well incase you want to change it back yourself. Once you hear and drive the Dodge motor you won't. Not to mention the heads that turn when they see it pull in. On Oct-20-14 at 10:19:04 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been asked what the red strap was on the radiator. The strap is only there to hold the tarp on the buggy to keep it covered when I'm not driving it. It is not holding anything together I just forgot to move it to take the pictures. On Oct-22-14 at 02:45:03 PDT, seller added the following information: Forgot to mention that I have a full soft top for the the buggy that is canvas with plastic windows as well as doors to completely seal up the cab. The soft top is white in color. I do not keep it on the buggy because it will dry it out and make it rot so I keep it in a tote in my house where it's climate controlled. Also I have a tow bar pictured and if you win the item and need to use the tow bar to get it home just let me know and I will have it hooked up to the buggy and have the lights hooked up and ready to go.
