1974 MG Midget Chrome bumper car.-Body and paint are great. Absolutely no rust! (originally nasty yellowish and then painted chocolate brown with autumn leaf interior) Painted professionally about 15 years ago and looks like it was done yesterday. Mag wheels and low profile tires, interior is in very good condition, 4 point roll bar and 4 point harness. Original smog equipment removed, but I still have all parts. I also have original bumper guards and heater.-The bad. There's a "Lucas Ghost" in the machine. It starts sometimes, others there is no power period. (Not the battery, some other electrical issue)I have owned this car for 20+ years and she is a VERY nice Midget. My Dad raced Spridgets in the 60's and picked this one up in Tennessee for me. Originally from NC. It has approx 58k miles on it and I probably have driven it less than 5k in 20+ years. Since installing the roll bar I have not had the top up (about 13 years).This is a Classic British car and is not an everyday driver. It is a beautiful classic and turns heads wherever I have driven it.This car is VERY SHARP. Minor electrical issue and she'll be better than new.This car has been garage kept and covered always.
