This Jeep is in great condition for a 30yr old. No body rot, and only a few spots of surface rust. Now onto the good items. Mechanically it is better than new, with a 4.0L from a 1998 Wrangler swapped in. The fuel injection is great, starts every time. Also has an AX-15 5-speed transmission. The transfer case is the original Dana 300 as are the axles, Dana 30 front, AMC 20 rear. I basically went through the Jeep and replaced all the worn out stuff, hence the new seats, new steering box and links. This Jeep is ready for you to do the fun stuff, lift kit, bigger tires, etc (although, if you are going to swap in bigger tires, I would recommend a regear as it has the 2.73 gears). No power brakes, takes a little getting used to, but they work great. The Jeep is very driveable as is, in fact it was my rolling project. I only garaged it in winter time, to prevent it from turning into a big pile of rust. One thing to note, it only has soft doors, no hard doors. If the Jeep is in such great condition, why would I sell it you ask. The usual reason, I have 3 kids and I can't fit everyone into this Jeep. No warranty is expressed or implied.
