1969 Mustang Mach 1, Q-code, VIN 9F02Q148733, 428 Cobra Jet, 4-speed manual transmission, black exterior with black interior. Odometer reads 47,313 and is believed to be accurate. The vehicle is currently not running, but a complete car. 2-years ago, engine was given a tune-up, new spark plugs, plug wires, coil, and the carburetor jets were replaced. Vehicle was then placed into storage, but does not run now. I believe the gas and battery went bad. I have replaced the battery and vehicle turns over, fires, but will not stay running. The engine has been modified, but is believed to be the original motor. The heads have been blocked and decked with roller rocker arms. The engine has been bored with oversized pistons. The crank has been ground, balanced, and a 3/4 racing cam installed. The original carburetor was replaced with a 850 Holley double pumper that sits on an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold. The vehicle also has an electronic MSD ignition, distributor, and coil. The previous owner included the original cast iron manifold, distributor, and cap. The vehicle is an older repaint with signs of wear, some paint discoloration, cracking, scratches, and chips but still shines well. The body and chrome are overall in good condition. The vehicle has a couple of small visible rust bubbles along the front lower portion of the rear wheel openings on both the driver and passenger sides. The rims and tires on the vehicle are not original, car is currently sitting on a set of magnum 500 rims. I have owned the vehicle for a little over 9-years. All the work, with the exception of the tune-up that was performed 2-years ago, was done by the previous owner(s). Based on the paperwork given to me by the previous owner, It appears I am the fourth owner of this vehicle. The previous paperwork included a hand written receipt that documented the preformance work done to the engine. The vehicle was built and remained in Michigan, until I purchased the vehicle.
