Here we have a Triple Black Beauty 1971 442 clone Cutlass Supreme Convertible. This car is super clean and in great shape. It has its original 350 engine. It runs great. This car was not messed with. It has all it original panels. The car wasn't a rust bucket. The car just went through a small restoration to make it look like it does and be more reliable. It has a brand new black top just installed. The top goes up and down the way it should. The car was just painted. It looks great, shines nicely, and is straight. If I had to give the paint a rating I would say its 8 out of 10. There a few small dings that weren't taken out properly and few imperfections here and there. Some people will notice and some won't. I am very picky so that's why I say a solid 8 rating. There is not a lot of bondo on the car. It was a solid base to begin with. It has all its original floors and trunk floor. No patches. Frame is super solid with no repairs. All body panels and metal on this car is and was in great shape. I added the gold 442 striping to the side of the car and the stripes on the hood. It looks awesome and gives it that pop factor.....!! It has all the 442 emblems on the car. It has an original 442 rear bumper with the exhaust cut outs. The interior of the car is clean. It has bucket seats and a console with a his and hers factory shifter. The carpet is brand new. The dash has NO cracks. The seats are all in good shape. All the glass is in good shape. All windows go up and down the way they should. Everything in the car works except for the clock. The following stuff works correctly, blinkers, brake lights, hazards, headlights, horn, heat, wipers, radio. It has new radio installed from custom auto sounds. It is built to fit in your original dash and looks like the original style but you have today's technologies installed. As for the mechanics of the car. It has following things just recently replaced, heater core, blower motor, radio, top, paint, front brakes, calipers, brake lines, wheel bearings (inner and outer), control arm bushings replaced. The tires are all brand new with under 50 miles on them. The car drives good and shifts fine. It is an a/c car but is missing the compressor.
