Up for sale is a 1964 malibu/chevelle barn find! Car is in nice original condition,2door,283,v8,powerglide trans.I found this car in a garage a few years ago original owners had passed away and the car sat untouched for 17years and had always been garaged kept before that!Yes they are still out there this is proof!I purchased the car changed the fluids and it started right up!Even the ac was ice cold!I have all the original tires and hubcaps but from sitting the bias ply tires have flat spots so i installed some nice ralley wheels for an old school look.I removed the carpet and found perfect floors no rust! i painted the floors with rustolium to keep them in great shape! You will need a new carpet since the original was thrown out.The car has all its original body parts and bumpers since new,even original paint!The paint apears to be all original except driver side quarter was painted in the 60s due to scratches,No bondo in this car!The doors, trunk ,hood, open/close like its 1964!The car still maintanes the stock exhaust so it is very quiet,its been waiting 50years for some headers and duals!The am radio still plays the oldies, original headlights still shine bright,and the wipers will wipe off the drool at your local show! The trunk is solid but will need a good sanding and paint,i applied some rustolium to the area were the original mat had been wich was surface rusted but still solid! The car has been factory undercoated in 1964 and preserved this car very well.The car does have some minor rust in some usual areas, I would not say the car is a perfect show car but it will draw more attention then the show cars,It even has some nice patina on the trunk lid! If you are looking for an untouched original 1964 chevelle malibu this is probably the best you will find! Remember it is an old car so no warantys!The car starts right up and runs good you do get smoke and oil drips when it sits but the more you use it the better it gets!Now for the best part,I have all the original papers,keys,plates, from 1964 even has the mini plates on the keychain!Please feel free to email me any ? you may have.Thanks and good luck! On Oct-18-14 at 15:28:27 PDT, seller added the following information: Took the car out for an hour ride yesterday and today car drove great, went to the beach for some new pictures and even took videos of the car driving from the inside but i cant seem to get them to load?I will try and load videos again but not sure if i will succeed.And to answer some other questions yes the headliner looks perfect!On Oct-18-14 at 15:41:59 PDT, seller added the following information: I had also been told by fellow ebayers it appears to have original dealer installed seat covers seats should be the color of the door panels,I do not know this for sure i was just told that people would have covers installed when new to protect the original seats!
