1955 Chrysler Windsor DeLuxe. Original matching Big V-8 Motor. All correct original engine compartment with the original six-volt system providing that beautiful soft headlamp and dashboard light. Automatic PowerFlight Transmission. Power Steering. Power Brakes. This car runs and drives beautifully and brakes very well. The car has been garaged and cared for throughout its life. I believe it may very well be the original paint. Body is completely solid and not rusted. Undercarriage and floors are strong. The Interior is in excellent condition, however the headliner needs replacing. A New correct color headliner and wind-lacing are included for the new owner. Seats are really fantastic with original dealer installed matching vintage seat covers. The interior may very well have beautiful original upholstery under the seat covers since they look like they were installed when the car was new and the four door panels are absolutely gorgeous. The coordinating seat covers are way too nice to remove, so I did not. All four Door Panels are amazing originals. The Black Padded Dashboard is bright and clean with the fantastic two tone red and black colors. The entire Padded Dash is in excellent condition and not sun damaged. The car rides on four Goodyear SuperCushion correct wide white wall tires with the original hubcaps. Original complete jack and spare tire included as well. Dealer Installed Stainless Window Rain Visors, these are fantastic as they enable the windows to remain open at top while driving in the rain to clear any fog. Front and rear Chrome Bumper Guards. All emblems, trim, scripts, and chrome are original nice and complete. 1955, Virgil Exner's first beautiful automotive design for Chrysler. The 1955 Chrysler redesign included a Split Grille, Wrap-around Windshields front and rear, low sleek lines, and spectacular Twin Tower with Fins tail lights.
