1992 Honda Civic Si EG Hatch 258,000 Miles 1.6 liter D16 VTEC (stock) 5 speed / manual transmission Power steering / Power brakes / Power mirrors Air condition - works! Power sunroof 15" wheels off of a 2000 Civic Si Super clean interior - never smoked in! 2 owner car!! The car has never been in an accident. I purchased the car from the original owner in April 2004 with 158,000 miles. This car has been my daily driver most days, but has been well taken care of and even kept in a garage nightly for the last 4 years. I am an 40 year old ASE certified mechanic, and I have done all of the maintenance and repairs needed to the car over the years. Shortly after I purchased the car (@ 175,000) I changed the timing belt, accessory belts, and valve cover gasket At @ 200,000 I replaced the Radiator, and radiator hoses. Many other normal repairs, brakes, tune up, and maintenance repairs have been done as needed. No major modifications. Only a cold air intake /air filter kit, and an all stainless cat-back exhaust system. (not very loud) Paint - has the typical 90's Honda paint fade, and has a bit of hail damage on the roof and hood. Rust -There are two considerable rust spots on both rear fenders above the rear wheels. This is also typical on these hatch civic's. Leak- Mechanically the car is very good. It does however have 2 small oil leaks. The valve cover gasket, and the oil pan gasket. So it does leave a small oil spot when parked in the same place.I have just been too busy lately to fix the oil leaks. The car still runs very strong, handles good, and drives great down the highway, and is a fun car to drive. The fuel mileage is usually 32-33 MPG driving mostly in town and short highway. I will get 35-36 MPG on a long road trip. I hate to sell it but want a Toyo 4x4 pickup truck for a daily driver/ winter vehicle. Please contact me through Ebay with any questions before bidding.
