lThis Corvette is on its way to becoming a six figure $ car. All the hard work has been done and all it needs now is the finishing touches. This all started with an original 61 Vette. The car was torn down, taken off its frame and a new rebuild was started to produce a Pro Touring car. A custom chassis was fabricated using C4 components for the suspension. To take it even further the aluminum components were sent out and polished and then installed on the chassis with a real low ride height. Even the drive shaft has been polished. As you can see from the pictures there was a problem with the 18 inch wheels on the front and the inner fenders were cut so they could be modified. There are a lot of new parts that come with the car, new chrome bumpers,stainless, door handles,side spears, headlight rings, top fender stainless, emblems, door chrome, parking lights, hood hinges ect. The front wheels are 18 inch Billet Specialties with 245/40/18 rubber and the rears are 20 inch 245/35/20 rubber. The car has a billet steering column with Flaming river rack and pinion steering. The under side of the body has been modified to allow the car to sit low and has coil over shocks. With this modification there is no soft top so the car comes with just the hardtop that still needs to be painted. The body work is all done and has been painted Jewel blue which is a stock 61 color and the coves are pearl white. The paint work is the quality of what should be on a six figure car. There is no gas tank or interior in the car. Under the dash is a new 180 degree brake pedal assembly with a 7 inch dual booster. The car comes with a 98 LS-1 with 79k miles and a 4L60E automatic transmission. The tunnel on the car was first made for a T56 6 speed and a clutch and brake pedal are also included.
