1976 Triumph TR6....Last year for this great body style and this one is rust free! Solid from one end to the other. The interior speaks for itself, the seats are exceptional, the carpets show less than normal wear for 60,000 miles and all instruments work. The plastic oil line has been replaced with a new braided stainless line. The original plastic lines were capable of pouring out a quart of oil at 60 lbs in less than 60 seconds once damaged or aged. ( one less thing to worry about). Door panels are not perfect but are still far above normal in appearance. Since purchasing this Triumph, I have replaced the clutch master and slave cylinders,brake shoes (rear) and pads (front), Both door seals (75&76) year correct and a big improvement over the "fuzzy" edition of previous years. I have also rebuilt the carbs, installed new points, condenser and rotor, dist. cap and coil. I have also replaced the stock oil filter and housing with a "spin on" type and a Fram filter.The oil pan was removed and flushed out ( no sludge was found). Replaced both door locks and have new keys. The radiator is in very good cond. and the engine runs cool. Original tires were replaced with new Falcon tires designed specifically for sports cars and guaranteed for 50,0000 miles and the grip and ride are superb! their size (225/70/15) are as wide as you can go without touching anywhere and give the car a real macho stance. The engine is strong and responsive. this TR6 has the factory overdrive and it is fully functional. The overdrive will take 1000 rpms off the engine speed when engaged = cruising at 60 ( no overdrive = 3000 rpm, with overdrive engaged = 2000 rpm! ) As you can see by the photos, there is included, a factory hard top in very good condition, hard to find and really adds to the great appearance and overall quietness of the vehicle at highway speeds. Purchased separately, I don't think you could find one for less than $1500.00 The convertible top is in decent condition and will keep the interior dry under heavy rain conditions.Both bumpers are in excellent condition and do not need to be re chromed.The boot and Tonneau cover are in excellent condition and are almost new in appearance. Other things purchased and installed... Battery ,front and rear under the hood seals,New radiator shroud, uprated rear springs, ABS transmission and drive shaft covers, original were cardboard, new transmission rubber mounts and last but not least a new starter motor! By the way there is an AM-FM radio included, I'm not sure you will hear it over the exhaust rumble, but it works! This Triumph is in exceptional condition and may be driven and enjoyed upon purchase.
