This is the jeep everyone is looking for 4x4, 4.0 HO, manual trans, 2 door. You just don't find these look around and try to find another. I have been into jeeps a long time and this is the first cherokee that I have found with these options that has not already been made into an off road machine and there are still not many. I am selling this jeep because I have taken a job in the virgin islands and it is not practical to take it with me. The jeep is in pretty good shape for its age and mileage I drive it every day and have no problems with it. in the past year it has had a new water pump installed, new front brakes, reese style hitch installed, new BFG tires all around these have about 6000 miles on them and are like new, new battery about three months ago and a fresh oil change only a couple hundred miles ago. Every thing works that I can think of except the key does not work in the rear hatch it operates fine if you use the power locks inside to unlock it and the cassette deck does not play but the radio works fine. the previous owner had the engine replace at some time and had the clutch done at the same time. It runs strong and I would trust it to go anywhere even the air conditioning still works good . The interior is not perfect but not trashed either no rips in seats bit there are stains and the panel around the 4x4 shifter is missing. please do not let the mileage scare you this thing has had lots of parts replaced over the years and is just as reliable as a jeep with half the miles on it. the tabs are good until 5/29/2015 and it passed emissions testing this year with no problems. There is a crack in the windshield but they still passed it on inspection so I never replaced it. if you have any questions please feel free to call tony @ 235-334-4998
