1962 UNIMOG WITH RARE SEARCH AND RESCUE BOX. X- SWISS ARMY SEARCH AND RESCUE VEHICLE. Custom built for a upcoming TV feature show. Details can only be shared with the new owner. Fully registered in CA and clear title in our name in hand. Great running factory 2.0 4 cylinder gas motor with rebuilt upper end. All original ignition components have been rebuilt and kept in tact, as to keep this vehicle running even after or during a EMP blast. Runs and drives like a tank. Easily holds 50 MPH. Suspension in excellent shape. NATO jump plug in tact and functional. Outside has been fully blasted sealed and sprayed with Line-X liner. Front stinger is all fully custom built with DOM tubing, attached at the cab to factory snow plow mounts and welded to frame. IT IS FULLY FUNCTIONAL AS A BATTERING DEVICE AND IS DESIGNED TO DRIVE THROUGH WALLS / FENCES / SMALL STRUCTURES / PUSH VEHICLES OUT OF THE WAY ETC.. Custom roof rack holds 14 military 5 gallon gas tanks, as well as mounts for traction mats and ammo boxes. Custom rack below the box on passenger side holds an additional 5, 5 gallon jerry cans. Factory dual gas tanks. Both front seats have been replaced with high back bucket seats out of a Mercedes sedan, much more comfortable than the stock seats. Custom 3rd seat added to the rear box with a gun turret overhead with easy access to custom made AR 15 or your weapon of choice. The mount is on a swivel and rotates 360 degrees. The 3rd man in the back can easily stand up once the turret is opened from the inside and is waist high and ready to engage the enemy. If you look closely at the first few pictures, you will notice a cross bow where the AR 15 mount is based. Front and rear amphibious 10,000 lb winches, both new. Factory Mercedes snorkel..fully functional up to 6 1/2 feet of water. New E rated 40 inch Super Swamper Iroc tires with less than 5 miles on them. 5th spare is new, on a custom military mount. Rear Isolated kitchen / eating area with propane tank designed to connect to standard Coleman stove. All glass in the box has been replaced with plexiglass. Rear box floors are covered with heavy water treated wood and covered with 2 inch foam and water proof marine grade black vinyl, makes for great storage underneath and easy access to drive line, as well as a comfortable sleeping area. We have had tons of offers from production companies to rent it, but currently we are working on similar Doomsday survival vehicles for our customers overseas, and we simply don't have the time.
