1960 Impala Convertible (barn find...well...pasture find I guess) THE GOOD: Car is very rare, tons of great parts on it including 98% of the stainless trim, good windshield, and pretty much all the parts are there for the car. I would make much more parting this car out, but I am convinced that there is someone out there willing to put some blood sweat and tears into this car to salvage it to the highest level. Believe it is a Canadian built car. Have not broken down the cowl tag yet but will update when I have done so, or contact me for more information. I do not have unrealistic ideas of what this car is worth, but do not plan on "giving it away" either. THE BAD:Car has been sitting for the better part of 30 years now roughly, very rusty floors, trunk, quarters and rockers from sitting in the dirt....deep in the dirt! Small block engine (283???) automatic (powerglide???). What you see is what you get....nothing more, nothing less. Please be vigilant with your questions before you bid, don't need to deal with any drama or unrealistic expectations of what you are purchasing and the details of the transaction. Car is "as is where is" condition, will be in need of a complete restoration at best, or one heck of a good parts car at a minimum. Am not parting car out unless the reserve (which is set very low for this car) is not met and auction is ended. DETAILS/Shipping: I do have options to possibly deliver said car to a location reasonably close to where vehicle is situated. That arrangement can be made with me but cost of shipping will be dependant on how far it will be shipped to, and if I can make those arrangements happen. Option only...no shipping included in auction price. Pickup only otherwise. A minimum down payment of 25% of auction end price will be required within 24 hours of auction ending. Remainder of payment will be required to be paid in full within 7 days. Item must be picked up no later than 14 days after end of auction unless other agreed arrangements have been made with me personally. Or please call your USA border associates and clarify what is needed to relocate vehicles in question across the Canada/US border. I don't forsee any major issues, but again....do not personally know. I am willing to meet somewhere closer to the border (canada side) with item for an agreed shipping fee. But cash in hand before item is handed over to shipping company or person(s) transporting it/them. Arrangements "may" be made to transport within Canada within reasonable mileage for an agreed fee for shipping.
