1946 FORD2 DR. BUSINESS COUPEThis auction is for a 1946 Ford 2 door business coupe. The owner called it a Super DeLuxe and the paperwork calls it a Business Coupe. I do not know if it can be both as I am not an expert on these cars. This Ford has been built for a while. It was originally black and had a color change to its current burgundy. The body seems solid with no visible signs of rust. The paint is nothing special as the door jams, trunk, and under hood were left black but the paint is a good 10 footer and driver quality. There is some bubbling on the right rocker but it seems to be paint bubbling and not rust. I have included a picture of this spot. Otherwise it seems to be solid. An inspection would be a good idea if this is a deal killer.The car is built with a Camaro front clip and rear end. I do not know what year. It has a Chevy 350 V8 with a 350 A/T. This car hits the road and drives good. It has been on several out of town overnight trips and has proven reliable. It has power steering and power disc brakes up front with drums in the rear. It has cold air conditioning. It has 5 spoke drag stars with like new tires. The mechanics and drivability make this a very good car to flat black and have a great street cruiser ready to go. It has good working gauges and a Pioneer stereo. The interior is in very good condition. I have included a picture of the rear seat area as it is done like a business coupe as the paperwork indicates. The lights and electrical all seem to work fine without issues.The headlights and tail lights have been frenched and look good. The trim is all in decent shape and the bumpers look really good.This car belongs to a good friend and if I can't answer your questions he will. The car is available for inspection.
