This is a long door DTS lengthened 6" for extra rear legroom. If you have driven one of these long door DTS conversions you know that the standard DTS doesnt hold a candle to the ride and floaty feel of these professional chassis cars. These DTSs have much heavier duty suspension, braking, cooling, a higher grade more durable leather interior and are built for a half a million miles. Cadillac built these cars to last, even going as far as doubling the warrantee in miles over the standard DTS. You could order your Cadillac with the professional chassis option as it was. A few others like this one were sent to Royal Coachworks Inc. where the body was lengthened 6 inches allowing you to have adults over 6 feet tall in the backseat with plenty of legroom to spare even if the front passengers were just as tall with the front seats all the way back. This was a very aesthetically pleasing modification with longer rear doors that blend in with the body lines of the car. We have had this DTS for a year and a half and used it in a Limousine company we recently closed. I have no doubt that had we not closed we would have used this vehicle for another 200k plus miles. This was the most requested vehicle in our fleet by many celebrities and corporate CEOs. Big ticket items that come up in maintenance have recently been addressed with this car. All engine and transmission seals have been replaced and the transmission was replaced a couple of months ago. Tires are less than a year old, AC is "freeze you out" cold. Front suspension parts were replaced less than 10k miles ago and drives as new. Im not aware of anything this car needs mechanically. The chrome wheels was an upgrade we did to the car a year ago so they are as new with no pitting and perfect chrome. This car originally had the same exact wheels but were the alloys. 2008 Cadillac DTS Professional Chassis in Raven Black. This body style would make a perfect personal driver car. With only 6" added to the overall length it stills parks as easily as the standard DTS. The extra rear floor space is nice for hauling oversized items as well. This Cadillac gets LOTS of attention. It has very dark tint(15% front, 5% rear). Winning bidder will need to check with the tint laws of their state. This Cadillac was detailed daily and hand waxed at least once a month. The upgraded leather shows very little wear. Drivers seat leather is in amazing shape. Lots of heavy duty equipment on these.
