Vehicle Detail
I have never sold a car on E-Bay. I am the owner of this car and not a flipper.I have been the owner of this Alfa since September 1992. I purchased it from Rosanova Alfa in Bladensburg, MD. It was traded into the dealer at four years old and 27,000 miles on the odometer. Over the past 22 years, the car has been enjoyed, maintained and cared for--and always garaged. There has been zero body or paint work done to this car while I have owned it for 22 years. No rust. The mechanicals have been maintained strictly by Alfa trained mechanics. Today the odometer reads 35,620...so, we enjoyed 8,620 miles over the 22 years. You will notice the condition through the provided photos. The paint appears great for the age and the fact that this car has not been "restored" or other...you will notice some of the life issues of the car (kid bike falls over onto car, etc.) The primary dings that are noticeable; right quarter bike handlebar fell into, two slight indentations on rear deck prior to trunk lid on left side and front headlight area has a couple scrape marks. I believe you can view all view the photos--let me know if you want closer up and I will send. I am guessing a professional buffing would make the great paint appear even better. It is a beautiful Alfa Romeo that has been cared for and part of the family. Things to notice when viewing (as you would expect when buying directly from the second owner who owned since the car was 4 years old):- Has original, correctly operating Clarion AM/FM/Cassette w/"Computer Anti-Theft System Identification" with all original documentation and is removable by using the original "pull forks"...must have code when put back in--all works as new - Owners manual is complete with original leather folio - Has tool bag complete with the three items, unused- Spare tire is unused and believe is the original Pirelli (unless it was switched out by 1st owner in first 4 years)- Spare jack is complete and located where it should be and is likely never been used - Documentation tags are all original and in place inside: trunk, hood, door jam, glove box, etc.- Yellow triangle "CAUTION radio becomes useless without security code" include the Alfa and Clarion logos are original on car and have been there throughout my entire ownership - Trunk mat has original Alfa logo stamped into carpet- All original glass with Alfa stamps (windshield has just a couple inches of peel in the upper left corner)- Non-original installed: kill switch, easy connect battery charger, Alfa floor mats- Recent maintenance (9/2014): gas tank vatted, new fuel pump, new tank pump, fuel filter- AC has always operated as it should, but not sure on temp of air blowing, may need recharge- Original digital clocks works For serious bidders/buyers: I am excited for us to make arrangements for you to view my Alfa in person. Reserve is set very reasonable to allow this Alfa to be enjoyed by next family for next 22 years. updated 9/29/14: all potential bidders please read: all of the above stated is fact under my 22 year ownership. After a couple questions--I reviewed the Autocheck. After speaking with FL DMV this morning, this is my understanding. I purchased this Alfa as described above with the odometer as stated above, and over 22 years I put on 8,620 miles as stated above. The issue FL DMV had is that they may have received a feed from a Dealer that showed the miles were 51,000 at one time so it war flagged as "not actual miles". The DMV in VA and CA (previous places I lived) never had that feed or issue. So, could this Alfa have had 51,000 miles on it when I purchased it in 9/92...I guess it could have, but since I have owned it, the odometer has never been touched and my miles went from showing 27,000 to 35,620. If the Alfa dealer sold it to me and it really had 51,000 miles on it at the time...add my 8,620 and this is a 59,620 mile car (which is what I updated it to, though I do not fully understand or believe). After caring for this car for 22 years--this is unreal. Also, the Autocheck shows a "minor accident or vehicle damage reported: non-collision" on 1/12/08 is 100% FALSE. This car has been my infrequent Sunday driver for 22 years, and again has had ZERO body or paint work and has only been maintained by trained Alfa mechanics. Please only bid considering the aforementioned milage concern.
