From 1955 to1957 the Maserati factory run a very limited production of the 160cc model (most Maserati motorcycles are 50cc or 125cc) which was named Tipo 160/T4. Part of a Maserati motorcycles collection owned by an American living in Italy, it has been in the same ownership for the past 30 years. In excellent running condition, it had a full frame-up restoration in Italy in 1996. Still mounted is the original license plate VE29143 from the city of Venice where it was first registered in 1956; it comes also with its original Owners Logbook and Instructions Manual. Very rare motorcycle of the Maserati line, sought by both classic motorcycle and car (particularly Maserati and Ferrari) collectors. Sold "as it is, where it is" without warranty.
