Vehicle Detail
1953 Ford F-100 Truck. Very good old truck, I built this for myself, its a good daily driver type truck. I put a lot of new parts on this when I built it, to make sure it was dependable, and useable. Body: Pretty much just as found, its was a farm truck and seen many years of hard work. The body had a lot of dents, (farm use) but really is a fairly rust free old truck. Front lower cab mount areas and floors, as solid as you will find for a Midwest farm truck. Minor rust starting in rear cab corners, but very minor. I hammered out the dents, best I could, still far from perfect, but has some great patina, and character. Drive train: Used but good 1971 Ford 351W engine, 2 barrel autolite carb, FMX trans, 68 Ford truck rear end. 3.0 ratio mounted on top of original springs. Runs road speed easily and gets decent mileage. Its a dependable driver. List of new parts: Aluminum radiator, wiring harness, 4 15" tires, dodge lancer type wheel covers, gauges, gauge panel, heater, Lo-Car shifter, dual exhaust, alternator, 4" dropped front axle, new king pins, tie rods, power disc brakes, brake booster, alignment, headlights, front turn signals, rear tail lights, ( L.E.D.), fuel tank, windshield & seal, rear glass & seal, rebuilt carb, fuel pump, all new brake lines, steel and rubber, new wheel cylinders, new brakes pads, shoes, new rotors, rear drums turned, turn signal switch, bed liner, hand built tailgate, radiator hoses, heater hoses, so you can see, I spent the money on the important stuff. Interior: Stock seat re-done black tuck-n-roll vinyl, new carpet, floor mats. In closing, this is just a fun old truck, that you can use and count on. Its far from perfect, but is well on the way, and the new owner, could make it their own, improve it, or just leave it as is and enjoy. You couldn't build this, for asking price, labor included, plus you can drive, and enjoy now. This is for sale locally, I reserve the right to end auction at anytime, if it sells locally. Clear title in my name. Sold As-Is. If you have questions: 6six0-3four6-8six7one.Thanks. 7
