1976 Lincoln Town Coupe Cartier Edition You are bidding on a 1976 Lincoln Town Coupe Cartier Edition. First off I love this car, it's so fun to drive! It's like driving a water bed around town, super comfortable. I recently moved 55 miles to the mountains, where there is rain, snow, and I need something else rather then the land boat. Thats why I am selling the car. I bought this car from a neighbor. It was a one owner car when I bought it, so that makes me the second owner. It was purchased in 1975 at Lincoln of Beverly Hill. I have all the original paperwork for the car, including the checks that were written to buy it. It was maintained very well throughout the years. However when I bough it, it had been sitting for few years. So, it needed some love. I did a bunch of work to the car and I have listed it below. Like any older car, you have to pump it a couple time and let er rip. When I was driving a few times a week it started after 2 or 3 pumps in the morning and started first try for the rest of the day. New Tires, New Radiator Hoses, New Belts, New Choke, New Shocks, New Rear Calipers, New Brake Pads, New Brake Booster, New Alternator, New Starter Solenoid, New Heater Hoses, New Water Pump, New Timing Chain and Gears, New Battery, Flushed and Serviced Radiator, AC Service and Conversion, Oil Change. The dash has sun damage and is discolored. There is also some rust on the sides of the rear window, you can see in the images. The door pulls are worn. The clock doesn't work. The 8 Track plays, but I have one tape and can hear engine noise. Currently Registered and Passed Smog in California.
