EJ22 It runs good and passed the Portland emissions test without issue. Fuel injected so it fires right up every time you turn the key, great gas milage too! PLEANTY OF POWER! Some Info from DBA: The Beettle also known as the Tall Timber Buggy by Beettle Auto Haus of Washington State was one of the 70's biggest NW manufactured buggy kits. Very much Manx like with a modified hood design that had a sunken box in it and a raised plate area wrapping around from the tail to the rear area. The nose is flattened and very distinctive.  It's located in Portland, OR and you are more than welcome to swing by or send someone out for you. Just give me a call ahead of time.
