Vehicle Detail
For your consideration is my 1995 BMW 530i. This is the last year of the iconic E34 chassis. I believe this to be one of the best examples of this car on the road today. The pictures do not do the condition of this car justice. Obviously i am biased as any owner is, but once you look through the pictures as well as read the list of repairs/improvements that I have done during my ownership you will see that my bias is genuine. I think I'm the third owner of this vehicle. I believe it was originally a lease. I bought the car from the second owners who were a retired couple who always garaged the car (as I do) More than that they were meticulous with upkeep. I have all of their receipts for repairs/oil changes/everything dating back to the late 90's. I also have every receipt for every repair/upgrade that I have done to the car. This is/was a Nikasil car. If you are familiar with E34's (which i assume you are since your checking out this car) they had an issue with the Nikasil blocks in these cars. BMW replaced the block at approximately 66k miles with the Alusil block. The car is finished in Alpine White which still shines bright and has zero issue with clear coat peel. Maybe a little pebble chip here or there. The interior is as nice as the exterior. No rips, no tears, no splitting, no smells, non smoker car. All lights work as they should. No check engine lights. All window regulators/motors operate properly as does the sunroof. Mechanically the car runs flawlessly. Strong, tight, quiet. In my ownership i have addressed all of the major pain points with the car. Upper/lower control (thrust) arms, sway bar end links, rear dogbones. I even replaced the heater core (what a job that was) I will list all repairs below. i have also done a few tasteful upgrades to the car. As you can see the car sits on a nice set of 17" style 32's with the proper hub centric rings with a brand new set of Kumho Ecsta 4x's wrapping them. Fantastic tires. Suspension wise, Koni sport adjusts (koni yellows) shocks/struts and Eibach pro springs. All of those together give the car a proper stance and makes the car feel as if its riding on rails. Confidence in the corners. I also have a Jim Conforti (TMS) performance chip installed. Stock chip will come with the car. I installed a JVC headunit with IPOD/Iphone hookup with the proper wiring harness so that if you with to put the original radio (which i have) back in the car, you can. Lastly, the corner lights have been upgraded to clears. I also have retained the original ambers. This car just turned 20 years old (from build date of 7/94) and it looks and runs better than cars less than half its age.
