Vehicle Detail

Selling my very well sorted and numbers matching 1970 Porsche 911 T SURVIVOR. This car spend most of it's life in California believed 2 owners, The original family owners (I have the original window sticker) had the car for over 30 years and took it off the road in 1993 and stored it. The second owner had the car recommissioned in 2006 and I bought it shortly after than and it's been in my collection of original survivor cars since then. It was a great car when I got it but I spend over $7000 sorting it to my standards then driving it in fair weather. The body and underside are incredible and rarely seen in this type of rust free unmolested survivor condition. It is straight and dry, all original sheet metal with no rust issues ever. The paint is an older respray that shows very well, there are 2 areas of thin paint and poor clear coat adhesion (back of hood and side of roof above passengers door, see pics). Aside from that he car cleans up and presents itself very well, has an original patina that I love which is why I never thought of painting it. It is in excellent mechanical condition as well. I have continued to maintain and improve upon it during my ownership. . The car starts, accelerates, shifts, brakes and corners as a Porsche 911 should. The interior is also in excellent survivor condition, the dashboard has 1 small crack, but is otherwise excellent The seats and carpets look great. I can't be certain if they've been recovered but appear to me to be original. There is CD player installed with speakers added via removable housings to the foot wells and the rear shelf. They are easily removed (no fasteners ) if you want 100% stock. THE BAD:The clock does not work The oil pressure gauge quit recently as well. As do most early 911's it will leave a drop or 2 of oil after sitting for a while. Overall, this is an incredibly sound and honest 911. It needs nothing to be enjoyed immediately. I love the original patina look and have not touched the paint since you have to get close to even see the two spots mentioned. You could easily shoot/blend those two spots to improve on the original look but if you want a show car a new paint job would be very straight forward. The car comes with: window sticker, tool kit but no tools, a C of A from Porche Cars, original owners manual and pouch, rare original maintenance book stamped with 14 services and some service records. I have the original steering wheel which goes with it. I have pictures of all that and the underside, front pan etc but I seem to be limited to 24 pictures in the listing. Serious buyers should free to contact me for more pictures, speak to me about the car or arrange a pre purchase inspection. Check my ebay rating 100%. I have bought and sold many collector cars on ebay sight unseen and try to be diligent about giving an honest description and pointing out any known defects, the same that I expect from sellers. I am a PCA member, and fanatical about sorting and maintaining my personal car collection which has grown too large and now getting thinned out.
