1978 Volkswagen Westfalia Bus/Camper/Vanagon automatic transmission w/ all of the original camping gear and hook-ups original upholstery (brown and avocado plaid...so 1970's) 4 cylinder air-cooled engine I bought this VW about 4 years ago and had the exterior restoration and body work done at Exotic Motor Collision in Livonia, MI replaced the alternator and engine belt a couple years ago it runs really well the brakes are shaky and should be replaced if you plan to drive it daily recent engine tune-up at Munk's Motors in Waterford, MI (I have all of this paperwork, and also a detailed estimate from Munk's on what complete restoration to immaculate condition would cost) Munk's is a really high end repair shop, specializing in vintage VW's, and they gave me an estimate to replace all of the hoses and make the VW completely mechanically sound for $3,800. Their estimate is higher than others, but I have everything itemized and detailed, if you're interested in seeing that paperwork. I'm moving and can't keep it or take it with me, as much as I would love to finish restoring it. Would love to see it go to a good home! It's a great van. Thanks for looking.
