Vehicle Detail

Solid, strong running 1978 MGB with only 54,274 miles ( this is reflected on the title, see pictures ). This car originally came from Exeter, California ( near Bakersfield ) before being registered here in Washington State. The owner then donated it to The National Kidney Foundation. There is no rust or any body damage. In fact, there are no dents on the sheetmetal. The paint, however is faded from being in a hot sunny climate. Plus it looks to have been re-painted once years ago and was not finished in high quality paint. There are some small tears in the seat covers and one in the side of the top ( see pictures ). The sill carpets are worn from people getting in and out of the car. The tires are all most new and are mounted on Limited Edition 5 1/2 " x 14 wheels. Everything appears to work. Even the emission control system is functional. We have stored the car inside since 2002. A new fuel pump, battery, water pump and clutch hydraulics system was installed by us this month to make the MG drivable. The successful buyer should be able to drive this car home if he or she desires. We took pictures of the oil and water gauge while the car was running after warming up to operating temperature at idle and 2500 rpm. As you can see the oil pressure is excellent. If this car is to be shipped we will assist in loading for transport. International shipping can be arranged through seapac service or schumacher cargo they can be found online. This is a true no reserve auction, high bidder gets the car. We will not stop the auction or take " Buy it Now " offers. If you have zero feedbacks, multiple bid retractions, or you failed to complete a sale after being the winning bidder, contact us before bidding or your bid may be rejected. We had a bad experience with "zero feedback" who bid up well qualified buyers and then re-niged on the sale, requiring us to re-list the item.
