For sale is a 1965 Dodge Polara 2 door hardtop. It is equipped with a 383 4bbl, 727 auto, and 8 3/4 rear with the factory 270 gears. It has power steering, power brakes, and AC. 64K miles AC was working last summer and this spring, now it is blowing ambient air. It will need to be recharged. I believe it was converted prior to me owning it.Engine fires right up and runs quiet well. It pulls this big car down the road really well despite the rear end ratio. It does blow some blue smoke on a cold start about every 3rd time.Trans shifts as it should, Front seal on trans does leak a little if the car sits for long periods of time.It still has drum brakes on all 4 corners, with the fronts being rebuilt, including the master and wheel cylinders, and some of the hard lines. Wheels are 15" magnuns. Car is almost totally rust free. Trunk, floors, rockers, rails, fenders and quarters are rust free. There are however two 1/4" round bubbles on the drivers side C pillar, and one 1/2" round on the passenger side. It was repainted at some point in an off white. There are a few light scratches in the paint. Chrome and stainless are in decent shape, Grille and tail light bezels have some pitting.Interior has been redone, seats, carpets, door panels, and head liner have all been replaced. Dash pad is not cracked and dash trim has some minor pitting.
