Vehicle Detail

1966 Oldsmobile Toronado 425 V8 automatic Front wheel drive 117,569 miles This 1966 Toronado is a standard model with more options than most Deluxes. The only options it lacks are power windows and power antenna. I have had this car in my garage for over 10 years and never got around to restoring it. I need to make space in my garage so it has to go. The car seems to be original. Everything is intact. The quarters look like they were patched and painted a while ago and will need attention again (see photos). The trunk lid has very light surface rust but is solid. There doesn’t appear to be any rust where the rear vents drain. The chrome is good all around. There is rust on the body in places (see photos) and the front passenger side fender is dented. The headliner is intact. The hideaway/ pop up headlights work. I tried to photograph any of the problem spots on the car, and please ask questions and request more photos if I missed something. THIS CAR STARTS AND DRIVES. The tires are shot, so it’s not drivable to your location, but it can be driven onto a flatbed or hauler easily. The gear selector needs adjusting; it’s misaligned when you put it into gear, but the car shifts nicely and drives. Options: Headrests6-way power seatVacuum operated door locksTilt/telescope steering wheelRear defoggerComfortron – automatic climate control (air conditioning) – heat works, but the air cond. Is missing a belt, so I cannot test it – but the clutch is freeClock (not working)Cornering lampsCruise controlAM/FM radio with Wonderbar – the radio works intermittentlyOldsmobile visor vanity mirrorTrunk release button in glove box - works I am representing it as accurately as I can based on my knowledge and have tried to give as much information as possible. Please do not hesitate to ask questions about anything I may have missed in the description. I am unable to test the function of some of the options.
