I purchased this from the second owner who put 50 miles on it and purchased from an estate from a family friend as a favor to the wife of the deceased. She has been treated like royalty and the gentleman bought this after he retired. No one has sit in the back seat more then ten times from what I understand. This one has always been in Washington and is just a real real fine example with no mechanical issues that I could find. I had a long journey home with her and she was a real treat on the freeway. Strong and made for long winded drives. Only 43k miles and ready for anything.....driving related. The original 400 is in perfect running condition and has no mechanical issues. I have clocked 100 miles on her and not even so much as a hesitation. She is so turn key and my under standing is the oil has been changed on the dot every time without fail and by the looks of the car, you can tell she was loved from the day the gentleman bought her. I can stress enough how clean and straight she is from front to back. The interior is like new and 100% functional. She has AC as well but she is not blowing cold anymore. ALL THE GAUGES WORK! WINDOWS WORK LIKE NEW! DASH IS PERFECT! DOOR PANELS ARE AS NEW BUT ORIGINAL! SEATS ARE PERFECT! HEADLINER IS PERFECT! Does not get to much better really. The paint was redone years ago but still looks new and is in almost perfect shape with ZERO BODY WORK EVER DONE TO THIS CAR. There is no rust to speak of and she is straighter then the Fonz. No rust in Vinyl top which is the kiss of death in these cars. If you want a no hassle Classic with a perfect drive-ability, then consider this lovely little peach.
