1967 Pontiac Firebird project car with no motor or transmission and is in the same condition as when I purchased it almost 20 years ago. I was much younger when I purchased this car impulsively and did not do a full inspection of this car at the time I purchased it. Please ask any questions you may have (732) 567 0230. I had many other projects at that time but couldn't let the car get away, so I put it in my barn where it sat for almost the next 20 years undisturbed and was just taken out of the barn last week. After it was removed it was taken to a self-car wash and cleaned of many years of barn dust. This car was going to be a fun weekend toy for one of its past owners so the build went in that direction. This car had new quarter panels installed on it in the late 1980s or early 1990s but for unknown reasons the owner at that time decided to have 1968 Camaro full quarter panels installed. Both quarter panels and the trunk of this car look to be very solid. The driver side left front fender has some damage and will need to be repaired or replaced. The rest of the car appears to be in good shape. The black bucket seat interior of the car will need a good cleaning and a new carpet. The drivers seat lower seat may need a cushion or a repair. Before I purchased the car it had been equipped with a Chevy 427 engine , Muncie 4 speed transmission and 12 Bolt posi which I was told housed 456:1 gears. I cannot verify the gear ratio at this time but will be happy to check it with a prospective buyer. The engine , transmission , shifter and linkage , clutch linkage , radiator , driveshaft , exhaust and other parts were removed at the time I purchased the car and kept by the previous seller. The 12 Bolt posi rear with traction bars is still in the car. The gas tank is out of the car and is included in the sale. The windshield wiper motor was removed from the car, which I may or may not have but will be included if found. The car also had power front disc brakes added and a Camaro big block heater core by a previous owner. This car has a clear NJ title in my possession. This car will also be advertised locally during the auction can end at any time according to Ebay's guidelines. Winning bidder to pay $500 by PAYPAL within 24 hrs. after auction ends with the balance to be paid in cash on pickup of car or by cashier's check. If balance is paid by cashier's check, car will not be released until check is cleared and verified by my bank. The winning bidder must also provide a contact phone number to make arrangements to remove car within 7 days after auction end. If the winning bidder cannot remove the car within the 7 day time period I may be able to give him an additional 2 days over the 7 day period, if the winning bidder notifies me by phone only, NOT by e-mail, well before the end of the original 7 day time period and we are in agreement to the cause of his delay. This car is in a located in a pay storage facility and is subject to a montly storage cost of which a percentage of that will be CHARGED to the buyer if the car is not removed under my terms.
