Up for sale today is one of the lowest mileage Wings seen on E-bay this year! Why pay thousands more for a bike with 60K,80K or more miles when you can get this nice, clean bike with only 15,871 actual miles. 1988 was the first year of the 6-cylinder Wings which stayed basically the same all way to year 2000,with only minor updates. This bike runs great, is very clean with current NY state inspection. I've been driving it to work once a week or so and enjoying the incredible smoothness and torque of the 1500cc engine. Tires were replaced a couple of years ago with newer Dunlops. Brakes and clutch are fine,as you would expect with such low miles. The suspension and steering are nice and tight. All electronics such as stereo,cruise control and compressor work 100%. The previous owner replaced the stock windshield with a taller Slipstreamer model with center vent,which is a great plus to be able to get more air in on those hot days. There is also the chrome rack on the trunk lid which so many of the 1500 Wings have. I've added the chrome Kuryakyn brake pedal cover plus the Kuryakyn side fairing reflector grilles for a little more bling,but other that the bike is basically stock,so if chrome is your thing you have a blank canvas to work with.Go ahead and chrome it out! This bike has been garage-kept it's whole life,by the looks. There are a few tiny scratches in the paint on the tail trunk and saddle bag lids but they can probably be rubbed out no problem. The mufflers and all the chrome pieces are in really nice shape,and the battery was new last year. You shouldn't need to do anything but ride & enjoy for a good long while. I changed all the fluids for this summer's use so good to go until next season. Still lot's of good riding days left,even for us Western New Yorkers,so if you want to fly in to the Rochester airport and drive 'er home I would be happy to pick you up. Or bring cash and a trailer,or whatever. Sorry,I won't ship. Don't miss out on a chance for a nice older Wing with very low miles! You won't be disappointed.
