1982 Volkswagen Rabbit Pickup (aka "Caddy") body shell with clear title READ AUCTION TERMS CAREFULLY! This is a last ditch attempt to help any Caddy owners out there who may need something from this vehicle. This very rusty truck was used to help repair my other Caddy, but because it has a clear title and therefore could be the start of someone's project, I figured I'd give eBay a shot at it before I called the scrap yard. This was a low-trim 1.6L non-turbo diesel with a tan interior. As you can see from the pictures, much of that has been removed. In fact, the seat and much of the wiring in the pictures has been removed at this time. Expect that there will be no wiring left when you get the vehicle. Otherwise, what you see is what you will get. If you want to ensure a specific part is on the vehicle before purchase, please contact me via eBay's "Contact Seller" feature before bidding. The vehicle has a clear NYS title which matches the VIN plate, and the VIN stamped in the rain tray corresponds as well (see note below). The door post sticker is too faded to read. Do not bother asking me to remove and sell you specific parts. This auction is for the entire vehicle as shown. Terms of Sale: Buyer must remove vehicle from my property (located just outside of Ithaca, New York) before September 29, 2014. Buyer is responsible for making all arrangements regarding shipping and transport. The vehicle has no wheels or axles so plan accordingly. Buyer is responsible for cost to repair any damage made to seller's property. This includes but is not limited to damaging paved areas, or badly disturbing lawn areas.Payment via PayPal only, within 24 hours of auction close. Check the pictures! Very rusty! No warranty at all. Regarding the rain tray: Note that in the rain tray, characters 4, 5, 6, and 9 are stamped Z (filler) rather than the character found in the title and on the VIN plate.
