Vehicle Detail

1965 Ford Mustang Fastback 2+2 C-code 2 bl engine 3 speed manual This car is about 90% original. I purchased this from a collector in 2003 who garaged it and very rarely drove it. I purchased it and did the same, but would take it out on the weekends to local car shows and cruise the local area. Always garaged, and under a cover. Never been in the rain since I've owned it. Put less than 2000 miles on it since I've owned, but change the oil every winter. This is a great car; it runs strong and looks clean for its age. I'm just ready to move onto something else. This car was original red, and the previous owner had it repainted silver. Interior is original along with everything else. I only changed a few things on it when I purchased it; it has Flowmaster exhaust; Pertronix electronic ignition, K&N air filter, Grant walnut steering wheel, and Magnum 500 wheels. If you have any questions, please just let me know. Several people have asked about the condition of the underbody. There is an underbody protective coating applied. I'm not sure at what point this coating was done because it was on there when I purchased it over 10 years ago. It is in overall good condition, with only one spot where some rust is coming through on the driver side floor panel. The rust hasn't progressed any since purchasing it. It's been garaged and covered, except when out driving on the weekends. Also, the previous owner installed adjustable air shocks in the rear. There is a fitting in the trunk to add/remove air for adjustment. I also have all 4 original hub caps, and all four original wheels. This car spends 99% of its time parked. And for the most part, it is original. So don't expect it to be perfect. This is a running, driving, 49 yr-old car. I've tried to depict the car as best I can in the pictures. Feel free to ask more questions if needed. Photobucket site: http://s566.photobucket.com/user/vtchopperdude/library/1965%20Mustang
