I am selling this car for a old friend of mine who recently passed away, so his Wife asked me to help her sell it for her. I have sold a few of her corvettes here in the past 3 months and this is the last to go. I will start off telling you that the owner was a huge Corvette fan and had 5 corvettes and this was his favorite. In a few of the pictures you will see the car before the restoration started that this car was in great shape and always garaged kept. He had a vision on doing a resto mod to this vette from 1980's as you can see in the pictures when he decided to take it off the road and send it to the shop to get started. The work that was done over the years was putting a mustang 2 front frame and disc brake set up on the front (this is what I was told) as you can see the pictures. The car was done at a body shop where it was for a long time as the owners health started to decline. The seat were recovered years ago, it looks like it has a new carpets in the box, soft top is like new but dusty, hard top is mint and the headliner for the hard top is mint. The car has boxes of parts that need to be gone through, I am sure some stuff may be missing, I cannot check and know what is there and not there. I did not see the gauges any where, but again I did not look through all the parts. This Corvette had always been garaged, it came from California in 1964 and this is when the owner purchased it. The title is a Pa title from 1964..Look at the pictures and you will see how nice the car was before he started to restore it. Do not get me wrong, the car will need to be restored still..It does not have the motor or transmission..I did not see hub caps, let me know what questions you may have and I will see if I can answer them. On Sep-01-14 at 07:11:36 PDT, seller added the following information: To answer a few questions...The car has front disc brakes, chevy bolt pattern...The soft top frame and top are in great shape, the hard top is almost perfect..The owner will not part the car out, few questions were asked about buying certain parts like the hard top, soft top and seats? The car again was purchased in 1967 from California not in 1964..So the owner had owned this car now for 47 years...On Sep-02-14 at 06:49:30 PDT, seller added the following information: A ebay member here sent me a email yesterday with the following information...He said that he has a rebuilt 1962 327 340 horsepower motor for sale that is correct yr for this car...Also has 4 speed trans same yr and new clutch and a bell housing...I can put you in contact with the ebay member if you win this auction and are interested in the motor and trans..Here is what he emailed me....Hi I don't know if you are interested I have the 1962 327 340hp engine right date code and 4spd and bell housing for your car which may help sell it for a much higher price most guy's want the original stuff I have it the motor is all new, new clutch trans was rebuilt year's ago all matching 1962 let me know if you are interested or not we can work something out, put it in you ad that you have available the correct engine and trans let me know
