One Owner - Rust Free- California - Original Vanden Plas 1986 Jaguar XJ6 Series III with 85,408 miles Book Stamped Service Records in Service Log Since New No Rust! No Leaks! No issues! All electrical works! This is an exceptionally well kept VDP with 85,408 miles. (will increase slightly during this auction for routine short distance up keep miles) It is a real gem. The drivetrain is very tight, solid suspension is very quiet, the cabin is quiet with very supportive seating which all looks great. There is very minor wear/signs of use consistent with it's age and miles. I would grade it to above average condition due to it's overall glossy exterior, original body panels and finish, no modifications, no damage history, no major repairs needed, well kept records from the original owner, rust-free California vehicle, new tires, all wheels are damage free, all original equipment is present, on board electronic displays for inst mileage/fuel avg/trip etc are all working as new. The wood filet for the dash has very minor hairline cracking. The door wood trim is all excellent. The button text is all clear and wear free. The turn signal arm looks great and works as it should. All of the instrument cluster indicator bulbs illuminate and function as they should. All of the gauges are also working. The odometer, trip meter, tachometer, fuel gauge, coolant temperature gauge, battery voltage, and oil pressure are all working as they should. The dash is crack free. The shifter is tight and has no issues. The engine idles exceptionally smooth and is extremely quiet when driving. This is such a wonderful car, if it does not meet reserve, it will remain in my garage. The right rear passenger reading flip down light still works. The driver side does not have a bulb or the electrical component inside, the exterior bulb housing and swing are functioning. All of the interior and exterior trim are virtually flawless. There are some very minor exterior surface scratches, which likely are all buffable, but this car was pictured as is, without any buffing or detailing. Noteable blemishes have been pictured. The carpet is still soft, free of any fading or excessive wear. There is a set of the wool mats too for the passenger, which all look like new still. The driver seat has more creases and wear on the bottom surface than the others, but still is very presentable. The turning and handling are incredible. There are not any known issues. The engine temperature stays cool even in the 95-100F summer days we have been having. The air conditioning does not blow very cold on a hot day, however, all of the fan functions work and it has not been converted to r134. All of the power windows and sunroof open and close quickly and have no noises or issues. It's a very solid vehicle that will last a lifetime with proper care. I have set the reserve to a fair purchase price. I treat this Jag more as a personal vehicle, but California residents are subject to use/salestax& dmv fees.
