Vehicle Detail

NGDCARS Store 1973 Chrysler Imperial Super Low Miles Code Name Key Lime Pie! Opening Statement: 1973 was the second year for the Cadillac like Chrysler Imperial. Still based on the fuselage Imperial, (1969 to 1973) but tarted up to try and increase sales. The previous Imperials were austere, these were baroque. Still larger, heavier and cheaper than a Cadillac, the cars didn’t sell well and this was the very last year for the true Imperial. This particular car is unique in many ways. This car came from Kansas and was ordered by a longtime Imperial owner. When the car came off of the transport, the left door got wrecked. The dealer then repaired the car but didn’t tell the customer. He came to pick up his car, realized the vehicle had been damaged, reused to take delivery and proceeded to sue the dealer, Chrysler Corp, and anyone else he could think of. After 6 years of court battles, Chrysler awarded him the car free of charge (back then customer satisfaction didn’t exist). By then, he was too old to drive the car and it was passed to his grandson upon his death. The story and the documentation came with it. About the Car: Super low mileage, with an impeccable white interior, unique exterior color, sun roof, full host of options, pristine engine bay, upgraded hidden stereo in glove box. The pictures are going to tell the story. What’s wrong with it: Various color variations in color from the original repair in 1973. Other than that, the vehicle has been completely gone through to bring it to my standards of near perfect drivability. AC, power accessories, all have been attended to and made better than new. I left the original period repairs on the vehicle, because that’s part of the story. Closing statement: GIRLS LOVE THE COLOR OF THIS CAR. The color is a celebration of the semi psychedelic 1970’s. This high impact color is similar to the high impact colors that came on the muscle cars. It is unique and I have never seen it on another car, EVER. Who am I? My name is Dave. I have been restoring cars for 35 years. My first collector car was when I was 15 years old. I've had three major collections and now it's time to sell my last one. My personal taste run to the eclectic. I have picked out or restored these vehicles to be some of the finest in the world of these types. I was a Dodge dealer for 27 years, selling 1600 to 2000 cars a year - that was my business. These cars are my passion.
