For sale is my beloved Bandit 1200s which I'm only selling because of a new and very time-consuming hobby (Ironman triathlons) - hence no time to ride it any more. I bought it used in October 2004 from a dealer with 9k miles on it and have put another 20k on it over the past 10 years. I've ridden the bike mostly on long-distance trips (including camping trips up in Vermont, New York and Canada) and it never missed a beat. It is equally comfortable at touring/cruising and slicing through corners in back roads. Quite simply, it is an amazing and incredibly under-rated machine. I had one mishap a few of years ago when I found myself dropping the bike at low speed on a grassy field and it still wears those scratches on the plastic covers on the left hand side (no mechanical damage whatsoever). I must admit, I could have/should have arranged for some 'plastic surgery' but never got around to do it. No significant upgrades (with the exception of a new Zero Gravity windshield); frankly, I have always loved the Bandit 'as is' (both in terms of looks and performance). I have all service history, done by the local Suzuki (and these days, multi-brand) motorcycle dealer, Stamford Motor Sports (in Stamford, CT). I'm happy to answer any questions - just let me know.
