Previously purchased from private seller in San Diego. Great looking car and in very good condition. 75% restoration including paint, transmission, engine, interior and some cosmetics. Drives great and clutch/transmission very smooth and good brakes. Chrome is good but could use plating especially for inside the bumpers. I have only owned the car for 10 months and drove it around 250 miles. I have no observed any leaks or problems with the car at all. Needs wiper motor, some rubber pieces replaced, front wheel alignment and new speedo cable (it makes noise above 30mph). All these items I would fix if I was keeping the car but honestly none of this bothered me when I drove it. All cheap parts available from various VW parts suppliers. Car is available for inspection in Glastonbury, CT. Please do not bid unless you have intentions of buying the vehicle without either inspecting or waiving an inspection prior to auction close. CT do not Title vehicles this old so the car will be sold with bill of sale. Payment terms.... $500 deposit within 24hours or auction close and remainder within 7 days.
