My husband bought three VWs and put them in my basement. He thought he would have time to restore them and that time has not come so he agreed that I could sell them because I want my basement back. I will tell you what I know about this Westfalia bus. My husband bought this from a man and put it my basement from the same man. Things I can see New tires. Very nice material in the camping area. Looks orignal . Nice sink and cooking area. I see one dent on the back light on the pass. side. The windshield is cracked. I see small rusted places around some of the windows. At the top on the cutter drain I can see no holes just light rust. This camper has two engines. The engine that is not in it is the original engine that was in it. This man my husband bought it from told us him and his wife camped in it until one day when it would not crank. He bought another 2.0 engine and put it in the bus. When he pulled the original engine out all that was wrong with it was the rubber hoses had rotted and had holes in them. So there are 2 good running engines. He had bought many new parts and put them on the engine. He told my husband both engines run great. It has new brakes and wheel barines all the way around. New tires. And best of all It has factory Air Conditioning. That is one reason my husband bought it. My husband has never cranked it and heard it run but the man he bought it from told him both engines run great. It has been in my basement for a year and never been touched.
