I am going to tell you all I know about this car. It has a new, clear title. My husband bought three VW s from the same man. He has agreed to let me list them because I want my basement back. Must sell. About the Karmann Chi. The body looks great. No holes, dents. Previous owner told my husband there was no holes or rust on the body. He bondoed the small dents and scratches and sprayed the car black. He told my husband he was not a body man. You can see where he did not sand the bondo the way it should be in places. The motor looks great. He has put some new parts on it. You can see that in the picture. There is also some new parts in the seat of the car in a box. We were told he put new seat floor pans in the car. And a different set of seats and carpet in the car. The inside of the car looks orginal. No cracks in the instrument panel glass. I can not see any cracks or damage in any of the windows. The trunk and the hood opens and closes good. They look good on the inside. The doors and windows seem to work like they should. My husband has never started the car. The man we bought all the cars from said they all run good. This Karmann Chia would be great to fix up for a show car and be worth a lot more than what we are asking. My husband doesn't have the time to fix them up like he thought he would when it bought he cars. I want my basement back.
