Bought this Thunderbird in 2008 from the original owners estate. My goal was to create an as close to original but all re-done daily driver. So went about it and used the help available to me. Original motor and transmission completely re-built by Jeff Elder in Coeur d' Alene Idaho. All interior work done by Dicks Upholstery in Hayden Idaho. I got all trim right and polished, did re-paint in PPG base coat clear coat and buffed out by private friend in Spokane Washington. Power windows including vent, swing away steering wheel, original jack in trunk, new trunk kit, no spare, new whitewall tires, have original radio but had it replaced by Sound Audio with Macs Auto look alike original with speakers under seats am/fm/cd/mp3, had clock re-built but it stills just works when it wants, gas tank and lines all re-placed, original air re-done works great, power antenna, very nice chrome, new radiator, almost all wires and hoses and belts re-placed, no short cuts or expense spared. A lot more, have to many toys and wife wants new Goldwing so something has to go. Less than 200 miles since completion. Very nicely done and can be shown, but not a Barrett Jackson car, as I said I wanted a daily driver and thats what I went about making. You wont be disappointed.
