wow! WHAT A FIND! I AM SELLING A 1972 BUICK Riviera - IT CURRENTLY STARTS RIGHT UP = BUT NEEDS CARB cleaned &A TANK FLUSH!-CAR IS A MATCHING NUMBERS CAR, AND IS all original!! ITS ABSOLUTELY perfect FOR A restoration project, AND SINCE ITS ALREADY RUNNING AND NEAR DRIVEABLE AS IT IS, SOMEONE COULD TAKE THEIR TIME RESTORING IT. I BOUGHT THIS RARE GEM OF A FIND TO RESTORE AND HAD BIG PLANS FOR IT, BUT THE TRUTH IS THAT I JUST CANT AFFORD TO SPEND THE TIME AND MONEY RIGHT NOW ON THIS ONE! I HATE TO LET HER GO, BUT I simply cannot do this one right now. MY LOSS CAN BE SOMEONES BIG GAIN! LIKE I SAID IT ACTUALLY DOES START, RUN, AND DRIVE, BUT IT PROBABLY NEEDS THE CARB REBUILT AMONG OTHER THINGS AS IT IS A 40+ YEAR OLD VEHICLE. I do know it was sitting for a while when we got it. The Riviera runs and drives but i have not really used it, SINCE THE BRAKES ARE SOFT, AND IT NEEDS A CARB REBUILD. It is all original and basically untouched which was WHY I WANTED IT! I WANTED TO RESTORE IT ALL AND MAKE IT A SHOW CAR, BUT UNFORTUNATELY I JUST CANT AFFORD TO RIGHT NOW. spare is completely intact, and I believe that I have most if not all of the chrome for the sides still in the trunk! the chrome bumpers and trim are all in great shape with only minor pitting! this was a SOUTHWEST car for most of its life, and it shows! PERFECT FOR RESTORING!!! This is a rare BUICK and has the VERY DESIRABLE "BOAT TAIL" rear end. I am hoping to sell it quickly so I have set a VERY modest reserve price for this Riviera! Here is what I know works the lights horn wipers, basically everything to drive the car works front windows still roll down (slowly), rear do not, AC is hooked up but doesn't work, It starts, Runs , Drives and stops, and will be worth a fortune when the restoration of it is completed! just To be clear, this car runs, but needs a (mostly) cosmetic restoration but it will be a SUPER fun PROJECT to drive and restore. I have Several New Pics of the Car including more interior Pictures, trunk pictures, and Pictures of the engine and the engine compartment! Wow! this is a nice Solid car! SEE THE PICS!!! I also want to correct something that was in the posting about the chrome side trim, and spare tire. I have them in a box somewhere, but I haven't located it yet, However, The Good news is that I located a lot of interior parts for the back seat that I forgot that we had. So the back seat interior is basically ALL THERE Including ALL seat belts, both rear Vanity lights, and covers, as well as all of the window switches and even the ash trays and cigarette lighters for both sides. The Engine and engine compartments will speak for themselves SEE THE PICS! They look AWESOME! You will also notice a new generator (alternator) that was just put on, as well as some new hoses, a new fan assembly, and a new Battery too! (among other things) anyhow, Check out the New Pics of the engine and compartment for yourself, and youll see for yourself how good it looks! Oh, and more good news...all the headlights, AND THE GRILL are original, and in tact and not cracked or scratched, and both Front and rear bumpers are all in great shape without damage . As for the front interior , there shouldn't be a lot of "hunting" and searching for needed parts either, because Most everything that the car should have is still there except for (from what I can tell) one strip of chrome on the drivers door panel, as well as the radio, and the steering wheel insert (center) , Anyhow, see the pics to better determine for yourself, but for the most part it looks to be almost entirely complete, which will REALLY help during the re-doing of the interior! * I also want to remind anyone that is interested that they are MORE THAN WELCOME TO COME AND CHECK OUT THE CAR IN PERSON HERE IN LAS VEGAS.
