You are bidding on a excellent example of a well maintained 1982 Chevy Luv Diesel Long Bed pick up truck - made famous by its Isuzu 2.2 Diesel 4 Cylinder diesel engine - they are known to give unmatched reliability and outstanding fuel economy - many examples can be found with mileage in excess of 500,000 on the original motor and happy drivers getting 35+ MPGs If you want to bid on the truck - please watch the videos below, look at the pictures, read the description and if you have any questions feel free to ask me - please have all your financial arrangements ready and taken care of - make sure your wife is ok with you bidding - don't bid unless you are ready and prepared to pay with cash or paypal This truck features the 5 speed manual transmission - power steering - working factory air conditioning - CD Player / Radio - sliding rear window - a nice uncracked dash, which is very rare on these trucks - overall clean interior - vinyl floor, door panels and ceiling are clean and free of rips / tears / sags - truck has good tires with plenty of tread left - brakes work well Truck has had a recent timing belt replacement and has new u-joints in the drive shaft The few negatives about the truck are - original factory blue paint has oxidation / scratches and surface rust that is to be expected for a 30+ year old truck - upon close inspection, you can also see where some blending paint touch ups have been made, mainly to tame scratches and surface where a camper shell had rubbed on the top of the bed rails - the bench seat has a seat cover but could be reupholstered to make it nice - the windshield has 2 small rock chips that I took pictures of but no cracks At the close of the auction a $500 deposit is required immediately from the winning bidder - and needs to be paid in full within 7 days from the end of the auction - buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and details - I do not mind holding for up to 30 days free of charge as long as the truck has been paid for Now - I have videos to show you the truck cranking / showing the air working / a walkaround of the exterior of the truck / the truck driving at highway speeds - I want you to know everything about the truck - I have nothing to hide and want to share all the info I have with the potential buyer Here is a video showing the truck cranking after having sat for a couple of weeks and showing the Air Conditioning is working great using a thermometer to show it is cooling quite well.................actually cools faster and colder than my nearly new Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins This truck does not have rust issues that are so often found on these trucks - there are spots of surface rust here and there but no rust thru on the body or the frame - here is a video showing the truck - while it is not a showroom condition example, it is in much better condition than your average Chevy Luv or Isuzu Pup This Luv has plenty of power for an Isuzu Diesel as you can see in these two videos - it does not decelerate going up hills - ride is smooth and responsive for an old import truck
